Households vary in size and type – and many are families of two spouses with children. Many new “family homes” are too expensive for middle-class folks to own, operate, and maintain. We designed this home to offer an alternative: sticking to the basics, minimizing wasted space, focusing on comfort, efficiency, durability, and value. The roof can hold enough solar panels to bring “Zero Net Energy” within reach. This home provides a lot of livability for its modest size and could easily be added onto if needed. Attainable and sustainable.
